   I ordered this for my 10 year old’s swimming gear (kickboard, fins, towel, etc). Love the size and the extra pockets. The package says it converts to a storage case, which in our case, it does not. it doesn’t have a double zipper. We ordered the all black version. I didn’t buy this even knowing about the convertible “storage case” feature, and I don’t think we have a need to fold it up as a storage case, so I am not too disappointed….but after seeing the package and reading about others who got this feature, I feel like I got gypped.

   I bought the bag for beach camping & random day trips -this bag is 24 inches long, and 17 inches wide at the base but tapers up. Sides are mesh, with larger mesh holes.
   Which I like for breathability, and allowing sand to be shaken out.

   The backpack straps are pretty comfortable, as I had to ride my bike a distance to get to the beach area that I wanted to be at
   I fit a beach mat, Beach towel, Air pump for inflatable‘s, two Hydro flask bottles and extra shoes with room to spare. It’s a great gag! Recommend !!

   I can’t believe I did not buy this years ago. I have been hauling masks, fins, goggles, and swim accessories in regular backpacks for years and this is a way better solution. Also great for cruise excursions when you take towels off of the ship. We bought one and it was a huge benefit to be able to keep wet and damp stuff separated from dry stuff, plus the fact that this is a backpack and not a shoulder bag was a big plus.

   We will definitely be ordering a second one for beach and cruise duty and father wants one to carry his snorkel gear.

   The mesh is much heavier gauge than expected but the bag itself is extremely light. The outer pockets were great for a camera and spare batteries.
   I highly recommend this bag.

   My main reason for purchasing this bag was for cruising. In the past, we would use a book bag type backpack. I wanted something that was lightweight and would resist the sand more. This bag was perfect. If you cruise, they allow you to take your beach towels with you off the ship as long as you return them….. if not you pay….. with the traditional backpack, it was a struggle getting the towels in there. This bag also has a drawstring top opening that opens up wide. This makes sliding the towels in super easy! along with sunscreen, tanning lotion and our big sun hats. It has a zipper front pocket that will put items in a zip lock bag and put in that section. The front pocket also has another sleeve inside to keep items separate if needed. This bag has resisted the sand very well, packs in our suitcase easily and is very sporty for the guys to walk around with. (I got the grey color bag) At the ports that we are not actually going to the beach, we still take this bag along with us in case we buy something. I position the straps so that they fit on one of my shoulders, allowing me to swing the bag under my arm towards the front of my body. Doing this just makes me feel a little more secure When walking through town site seeing or visiting the gift shops.

   For anyone looking for a fairly large equipment bag, look no further! I had bought it to use as a bag to carry stuff to the swimming pool, but noticed that it is very large for that purpose, unless you are carrying fins and snorkeling gear along with a towel and a change of clothes. But, it turned out to be just the right size for carrying taekwondo training gear (chest guard, helmet, shin+instep guard, foot protector, groin protector, uniform, etc.). The bag folds into the rectangular outside pocket, and lays flat. The build quality seems solid. Hope to get a lot of use out of it. Very happy with the purchase. Recommended!
