The dual-function design of the Axis buoy improves body position while building upper body strength and engaging the core muscles. With ergonomic keyholes and a contoured design, the Axis buoy can function as both an ankle float and a leg buoy. The lightweight EVA foam is lightly textured for a more secure grip and allows swimmers to easily transfer the buoy between ankles and legs.
- Wear it two different ways: at your ankles or between your legs
- Improves body position while building upper body strength and engaging core muscles
- Patent-Pending design allows swimmers to easily transfer the buoy between ankles and legs
- Improves hip rotation and builds core strength
- Lightweight EVA foam is slightly textured for a secure grip and will not chafe or irritate skin

Great work out aid
Great work out aid. You can use them around the ankles and anywhere between the ankles and crotch to help with swimming exercises. Remember to wash them with soap if in a pool as it’ll last longer.

Nice flotation.
Would like for the cuffs to hold a little tighter around my ankles but otherwise great product.

Watch their video before use
I watched their video and it explained both how to use the device and their thinking. This made it easier for me to adapt to the different body position that results in having the pull buoy all the way down at your ankles.
The swimmer in the video does very smooth flip turns. I’m having difficulties, I am currently doing open turns, and I’m comfortable with that. Not having to clench the buoy as I swim makes for a more relaxed pull. I am practicing my flip turns and they are slowly improving.
It also works well as a kick board. I’m stretching out more and getting a better body position.
I think that you do have to change a few of your preconceived notions to enjoy this product.

Great pull buoy, stays in place.
I’ve put quite a few miles on this buoy and I like the way it stays put. I do not have to ever stop and adjust it.
It is harder to do flip turns with this buoy. Being at my ankles it is difficult to push it through the water on the flip turn. I just do open turns with it on.

It works great! Better than the swim buoy you hold between your thighs and you still get a good workout. Happy I purchased it.
