   Great for improving strokes

   I have been swimming for over 50 years and using Large TYR Catalyst paddles for most of them. Recently I have developed shoulder pain and decided it was time to “gear down”, and I selected the Medium Nemesis Contours, and am glad I did.

   The design gives immediate feedback if stroke entry (freestyle) is too deep, and the contour design allows enough pull versus resistance for a good workout and they did not affect my shoulder at all. I used them for freestyle, back and breaststrokes and they worked well for all of them. In particular I liked how the enter on the backstroke. I will be hanging up my Catalysts as I have a new stroke paddle.

   I love these paddles

   I love these paddles. I swim a mile every other day and the difference in my arm and back strength since using them is great. There are no issues in the fit or in keeping them on my hands while swimming. They really improve your stroke and stamina. If you’re looking for a more challenging work out, these are well worth a try.

   Excellent starter paddles!

   I do not have any formal swim training, but after herniating a disc in my lower back, I took up swimming to rehab my back, strengthen my core, and for general stress relief.

   I took four half hour lessons at the tender age of 51. And I’m sort of addicted to all the fun things to keep the swim interesting as I swim laps for an hour five to six times a week. These fit perfectly in my palm and are easy to control. I’ve only had them a few weeks and I use them about 20 minutes or so each swim.

   Every friend who has tried them, wants a pair. I’m seriously considering giving some for Christmas. I like them that much. They will improve your stroke and form, work your upper body and oh happiness, isolate your triceps and work them like nothing else you’ve tried. Affordable and fun. Only negative might be how long the finger and wrist loops/bands are going to last. Will keep this review updated.

   The size small is pretty small. I have small hands for a woman …

   I agree with the last reviewer. This item is for strength building. I feel the difference in my workout. For those who want to buy based on hand size, the size small is pretty small. I have small hands for a woman and found that the small fits perfectly with not much space at the tips of my fingers. The product is great quality.

   Great paddles

   I really enjoy using these paddles. Look up the sizing guide chart on the Speedo website it will help you decide on proper fit. The different colors denote the specific size so with the Large versions I purchased I received bright yellow tubing which is fine for me because I do not care about the aesthetics.
